I really think that the Gentleman Thief is underused and underrated. She rarely appears in the series. I think there're only five cases where she makes an appearance, but even then she's the main focus in only three of them. Compare that with Takato, who appears in more than ten cases and even have his own spin off.

To add the insult, when she first appeared in 1995, the next "real" confrontation is literally five years later. This is why some people see her existence as a filler.

Granted, I haven't read all the manga because some of it are weirdly unavailable, but i don't think there's a case where it set in the island of Shikoku nor met with someone from that island. On the location page, there are setting on unknown prefecture, maybe some of it is at that island.

First of all, i'm sorry for being quite chatty here but i really want to talk about a possible loose end that bugged me. It's in the Demon Killer of Silver Screen. One of the suspect, Miho Kurokawa has a huge burn mark or something like it that resembles a scorpion.

I thought it would be plot relevant, but to my knowledge, it appears to be meaningless but i still have to wonder, why she has that burn on her back?

Is she supposed to have a different role?
