Story[]
At the invitation of freelance writer Itsuki, Hajime Kindaichi takes part in the hunt for the Amakusa treasure that is said to be worth hundreds of millions of yen. Hajime's party heard a rumour of misfortune upon arriving at the land of Amakusa, that anyone who seeks treasure will be put to death by the White-Haired Demon. The iron hammer finally swung to crush the participants who continued the treasure hunt. All of the dead had blood-red crosses on their chests… What was the true identity of the White-Haired Demon who was the guardian of the treasure? Where is the location of the treasure indicated by the mysterious letter on the rosary? Hajime was faced with these two riddles.
