Manga to Anime Differences[]

Prologue almost deleted.
The scene where Itsuki notices Miyama's existence from a weekly magazine is read in the original at the apartment, but in the anime, it is read while waiting at the ramen shop. Therefore, Mizuho does not appear.
Fumi appears. In the anime, it first appeared in this incident, and the opening part of the original " Murder in Christmas Eve " and the epilogue of "Murder in the Forest of the Demon Dog" are mixed.
Added a scene where Kindaichi helps Ruri when she almost hits a falling ladder.
In the middle of the night, Fumi witnesses Shimon grinning at Miyama's burns.
Tateha's attempted wrist cut was deleted. Instead, a scene of crying over Ruri's death in the garden at night has been added, which is when she is murdered.
Shimon's cause of death was changed from slashing with a hatchet to stabbing with a knife.
One arm is not amputated. Incidentally, the crucifixion of the giant purple saki also disappears.
The number of butterflies flocking to Shimon's corpse is smaller than in the original.

After the incident, Kindaichi was not invited to Miyama and Ageha's wedding, and only sent the wedding photos.
In the manga, Shimon dies before Ageha's attempted murder. In the anime, he dies after.

In the anime, Fumi Kindaichi makes her first appearance in this case.
This is the only time that Heisuke Kindaichi appears in the anime. His original role in another case in the manga version was changed into the anime version of the case.
In the anime, Hajime and Miyuki didn't attend Hikage Miyama and Ageha Madarame's wedding, but they receive a photo of the wedding at the end of the case instead.
In the anime, Inspector Masasuke Inokawa never seen smoking a cigarette.
In the manga, Itsuki finds out about Touno in a newspaper at his apartment with Mizuho and Hajime and Miyuki are at the beach and Reika appears after the Tarot case. *In the anime, Mizuho and Reika didn't appear and Hajime and Miyuki didn't go to the beach.
Beginning with Episode 45, all episodes were animated digitally.
