The Broken Heart Hake Resort was a large Resort that was built near Broken Heart Lake.
The resort was a massive project, with a size of more than 400 square kilometers and included an hotel, a golf course, a swimming pool and a ski slope, as well as a camping village. The resort was supposed to be restricted to elite with the membership being very valuable and worth more than 50,000,000 yens.
However, during the initial test of the resort with a selected focus group, the Broken Heart Lake Legend Murder Case occured. Afterwards, the project was postponed indefinitely, even though most of it had already been built.
The resort was quite isolated, only being linked by an old wooden bridge but a newer one was planned to be built. The wooden bridge ended up being destroyed during the case.
