Manga to Anime Differences[]

  • Scenes of Kindaichi and others playing in the water and Kindaichi demonstrating his knowledge of directions were cut.
  • Like the drama version, the Yonemura team's camouflage uniform design is different from Iwano's.
  • In the Yonemura team's conversation, when the story of two years ago came up, the person who said, "Don't remind me of bad things!" was changed from Isaka to Moriya.
  • Yonemura's glasses are picked up before the bodies of the Yonemura team are found.
  • Changed the Yonemura team's kill method to the island's battery. The scene where Namba finds Isaka first is cut because there are no more fragments of the bodies left.
  • The order of lookouts in the individual air-raid shelters has been changed, and the process of finding Hagimoto's body has been simplified.
  • In the original work, Jinma discovers that the wireless device is running out of battery after Kindaichi points out the existence of the wireless device, but in the anime, Jinma notices it before Kindaichi points it out.
