Fumiya Mitsui (三井 文也 (みつい ふみや) Mitsui Fumiya) is the third fiancé chosen by Shuichiro Aizawa for Akane Aizawa. He is the real person Akane loves and turns out to have approached her so he could get revenge on Shuichiro. After killing Shuichiro's adopted sons and his second wife, he commits suicide by bombing the hotel Shuichiro built. In the anime, he is named Yoshiaki Endo (遠藤 由明 (えんどう よしあき) Endō Yoshiaki) while he doesn't appear in the anime movie as his role is taken by Takeshi Suo.

- Fumiya's surname Mitsui means "three" (三) (mitsu) and "well, mine shaft, pit" (井) (i).
