Gozo Gamo (蒲生 剛三 (がもう ごうぞう) Gamō Gōzō) is a renowned painter and one of the victims in Murder by Gentleman Thief. He's the father of Sakura Gamo and the uncle of Haruhiko Wakuta.
Appearance[]
Gozo Gamo is a man in his early fifties. He has a dark greying hair in the manga and a fully grey hair in the anime. In the anime, he wears a purple shirt, green jacket and beige pants.
Personality[]
On the surface, Gamo is portrayed as a professional painter that creates many magnificent paintings including the portrait of his daughter Sakura Gamo. Later it's revealed that he never creates all his paintings and his drawing skill are mediocre at best. He used to steal one Kanjiro Kira's model and kept an unknown painter for a very long time to force him creates his supposedly his own while keeping him hostage. He along with his personal doctor Satomi Kaizu also responsible to permanently broke the painter's mental health by using an unknown drug.
His relationship with Sakura is all a ruse as Gamo only pretends he has a long lost daughter while Sakura is using him and wait for the perfect opportunity to kill him. He also dislike traveling using public transportation such as ship or airplane, and his personal car is a highly specialized limousine.

Etymology[]
- The name Gozo means "sturdy, "robust, tough, strength" (剛) (go) and "three" (三) (zo).
- Gozo's surname Gamo means "bullrush, flag, cattail" (蒲) (ga) and "life, living" (生) (mo).
Trivia[]
- In the manga, he has some walking disabilities and usually walks with a walking stick, this didn't happen in the anime.
