Kazuna Akimoto (秋元 和那 Akimoto Kazuna) is a 4th Year Media Student and the murderer in the Mirror Labyrinth case.
Kazuna killed Madoka Komine because she blamed her for her father's death. As she and Madoka were competing to become TV Anchors, her father's business was running into difficulties. When he went to the bank to get a loan, the bank's manager, Madoka's father demanded that Kazuna pulled out of the interview in order to get the loan. Her father refused and subsequently died of overwork while trying to keep his company going.

- The name Kazuna means "harmony, peace" (和) (kazu) and "what?" (那) (na).
- Kazuna's surname Akimoto means "autumn" (秋) (aki) and "beginning, former time, origin" (元) (moto).
