Appearance[]

Personality[]

He is a calm person and often has a hard expression due to his job as a detective. However, he is not a straight-laced person and is able to flexibly respond to the situation. When he first met Kindaichi, he was a little at odds with him, but at a relatively early stage, he recognized his superior reasoning ability and began to cooperate with him.

He was also given a special mission by the upper echelons of the government, so it can be assumed that his abilities as a detective are quite good. However, when a poisoning incident occurred at a hotel, he determined the culprit by looking only at the situation and tried to take innocent people away, so it seems that he is not good at deduction.

History[]

He was visiting Hong Kong to investigate a special mission. Their mission is to find a small , high-power nuclear bomb , commonly known as the "Poison Dragon," hidden somewhere in Hong Kong . The Poison Dragon was acquired by Wang Long, then known as the Kowloon Emperor, as a trump card for independence over 20 years ago, when Kowloon Walled City still existed in Hong Kong.

Immediately after hinting at this, the king was betrayed by his subordinates and killed. As a result, Kowloon City's dream of independence disappeared, but all that remained was the ``Poison Dragon'' that he had hidden somewhere in Hong Kong. Although the Poison Dragon was small, it was powerful enough to scorch Hong Kong with one shot , and even if the power to the detonator went out , it would be considered an enemy attack and detonate , so the detonator They had to find it and dismantle it before the power went out. The battery life of the detonator is approximately 20 years. A military satellite had picked up the signal that the detonator had been activated 20 years ago, but it was only a month ago that the arrested bomb courier confessed to selling it to the king, so they cooperated with Hong Kong police. He was trying to find the poison dragon no matter what.

Thinking that Chen Yongfu and Xin Li know about Poison Dragon, he infiltrates the dinner party that Chen Yongfu and Xin li are attending. However, an incident occurs in which Chen is poisoned to death. Based on the situation at the scene, he suspects Kim Longdong who handed out the soup, but Hajime, who was there, points out his mistake. After that, he becomes involved in the investigation of serial murders related to poison dragons, and also searches for bombs while listening to Kindaichi's deductions. As soon as they found the poisonous dragon through Kindaichi's reasoning, they ordered the disposal team to dismantle it, and somehow managed to dispose of it in time.

In the anime version of Young Kindaichi's Trip of Death Preparedness, he appears as a stand-in for Hong Kong police officer Li Bo Er. He is in charge of investigating the kidnapping of the owner of the King Dragon Hotel in Hong Kong, and reunites with Kazuto and his friends who have come to Hong Kong in pursuit of Yoichi Takato . His activities are almost the same as Bo Er in the original work, but it is not revealed why he is involved in the Hong Kong incident since he is a Taiwanese police officer.

Relationships[]

He is actually from Kowloon Walled City and is one of Wang Long's children . The people involved in the case, Ryuta Takigawa, Kim Longdong, and Yang Lan, are his biological siblings. After the king is murdered, he flees Kowloon City with his mother and siblings, but they are separated as Ryuta goes to Japan, Longdong goes to Korea, and Bailong goes to Taiwan.

Twenty years had passed since then, so they didn't even remember each other's faces, but since all three brothers had the word "dragon" in them, when they learned their names, they had a vague idea that they were brothers who had fled the country. was. As a result of the incident, he was able to reunite with his brother and sister in his hometown of Hong Kong, and he couldn't help but smile.
