Makoto Tojo is a member of the All Japan Fencing Training Camp and the victim of Ghost Swordman Murder Case.

He is a rather light man, and when he participated last time, he had black hair and was smooth, but he had brown hair and pierced earrings. He was selected as a member of the fencing training camp in a short period of time, and is said to be a genius who can do anything without effort. On the other hand, he was slovenly with women, shaking them over the phone.
Despite his advanced skills in academics and sports, he has very little passion in actually accomplish it and his fencing skill is later confirmed to be obviously lower than Otoya Usami. Coach Sakurada stated that he couldn't get ahead of him in at least ten years.
