Marin Hayama (葉山 まりん Hayama Marin) is originallu suspect at Uta Island Resort Murder Case and later becomes Hajime Kindaichi's assistant also the main heroine/deuteragonist in 37 Years Old Series replaced Miyuki Nanase.
After Hakodate Western-style Hotel, The New Murder she proclaimed that Kindaichi and herself as the famous duo of Otowa Black PR. Ironically, the duo always gets caught in the dreadful murder cases.

Marin has short hair and a cute face. Her hair color is revealed to be purple as shown in several official artworks.
Personality[]
Marin is quite an attractive and cheerful girl who is sometimes too confident. Marin is said to be able to speak fluent Mandarin and French, script-writing and generally more up to date when it comes to work related stuffs.
Unlike Miyuki, who has witnessed many gruesome murders throughout her teenage years alongside Kindaichi, Marin's lack of exposure towards murders makes her more idealistic, upbeat and more optimistic than Kindaichi.
