Murder Committed by Young Kindaichi (金田一少年の殺人 Kindaichi Shounen no Satsujin) is the sixth and the seventh episodes of the fifth generation of TV Drama series The Files of Young Kindaichi. It adapts the story arc of the Murder Committed by Young Kindaichi from the File Series.
In these episodes, Hajime Kindaichi, Ryuta Saki, and Inspector Kenmochi came to the Birthday Party of Goryu Tachibana, a non-fiction writer. There Tachibana was dead, and Hajime became the prime suspect. Hajime tries to catch the "Invisible Enemy" while the police chase him.

- Shigeru Nagashima's role changed to a drama original character, Noboru Takabayashi.
- Ohei Katsura changed by a similar name to Yurina Katsuragi, a gravure idol.
- Goryu Tachibana's Servant, Kiku, was changed by a similar name to Kikuzo.
- Tsuzuki's daughter, Mizuho, was changed as his fiancée, Maiko.
