Manga to Anime Differences[]
- The timing of contact from Takato changed from inside the school to on the way home.
- Sho Sumeragi's corpse was not dismembered. The corpse appears out of nowhere on the table, buried in black rose petals (presumably because the "dismembered corpse'' cannot be visualized due to broadcasting ethics).
- The double-walled dumbwaiter trick is explained in the basement dining room.
- Sumeragi's corpse was hidden under the table in advance, and a trick was used in which a large amount of rose petals erupted from within the crochet, turning it over at the moment when everyone averted their eyes.
- Added a setting where mobile phones cannot be connected in the Rose Cross Mansion.
- The place where Miyuki and Shiraki encounter Giselle after taking a bath has been changed from the bathroom to the dressing room. This makes
eGiselle's bare skin could only be seen on her back. - It emphasizes the misleading that Shiraki is Takato's half-sister.
- As in the drama version, the scene where Takato shows off the stake while eating is cut.
- Changed the timing for Kindaichi to reveal the culprit's name to after Takato stops the final murder.
- The person whom Giselle admitted to being the culprit changed from "Puppeteer of Hell" to "Mr. Detective".
- Conversation scenes between Renka and Giselle (praising her daughter's poetic talent, going to see the Blue Rose due to anxiety about the security system, etc.) are greatly cut.
- In the recollection of stealing the blue rose, instead of Fuyuno joining the gathering of the four Sumeragi and others later, the flow has been changed so that five people, including Fuyuno, are gathered in the room from the beginning.
- The scene where Sumeragi and Giselle quarrel is cut. In addition, he ran away before the quarrel.
- Since Sumeragi's behavior led to escape, the cause of death of the emperor was changed to an accident.
- Part of the scene where Takato attacks Giselle is omitted.
- As for the reason for calling Takato, Giselle's line saying "Because he's my brother" and Takato's line saying "I won't forgive him even if he's my sister" are cut.
- And the scene where Giselle tries to touch the detonation switch as a countermeasure against Takato is cut (the switch is destroyed and the suggestion itself is done).
- Takato's line, which denies the theory that "criminals are criminals," was changed to "(Giselle) is definitely my sister."
- Added a scene where Giselle, who was fainted by Takato, cries and calls her mother.
- Change the place where Shiraki and Sakura talk about being siblings to a classroom. In addition, Shiraki directly tells Hajime and Miyuki about the story and the burn marks.
- At the end of the story, the scene where Takato finds a "mysterious Western-style building" different from the Rosicrucian building has been changed to a scene where he stands in a park at dusk.
