Satomi Kaizu (海津 里美 (かいづ さとみ) Kaizu Satomi) is a personal doctor of Gozo Gamo and one of the victims in Murder by Gentleman Thief.
Appearance[]
Kaizu has a long tied black hair and use thick lipstick on her lips. In the anime, she wears a dark blue dress with short skirt.
Personality[]
On the surface, Satomi Kaizu is portrayed as caring and understanding to Sakura and Gamo. She defends him from Kanjiro Kira supposed nonsense as she thought a painter could coincidentally have the same model as him and said it's fairly common.
However, it's later shown that she's willing to kill Sakura by poisoning her in order to not let the police know about their past crime. She also have no medical ethics as she willingly used the drug that could make the person infected with it mentally broken to Nobuhiko Izumi.
She also have some form of love affair towards Gamo and being practically his mistress as she also willing to be the model of one nude painting.

- The name Satomi means "village" (里) (sato) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
- Satomi's surname Kaizu means "sea, ocean" (海) (kai) and "haven, port, harbor, ferry" (津) (tsu/zu).
