Sayuri Kawanishi (河西 さゆり (かわにし さゆり) Kawanishi Sayuri) is a high school student and one of the suspects in Broken Heart Lake Legend Murder Case.

Kawanishi has an overall cheerful and flirty character, mostly hangs around with Kindaichi as she's very relieved that he's the only guy to be around her age. She's shown to have no problem with drinking alcohol despite being underage.
