Segori Village is a small village near the Taisetsu Mountain in Hokkaide Prefecture. The village was formed by settlers during the Meiji era in the late 1800.
During summer, the village is often filled with tourists. However, during winter, the village is mostly empty and snowstorms often blocks it's roads.
The village is the home of the famous Artist Issei Himuro where he had his own villa designed and built.
The village is split by the Segori River. While not a large river, there currently exist only one bridge crossing it : another bridge once existed, but collapsed and never was rebuilt.
