Seiji Hazawa is an art collector who appears as a suspect in Murder by Gentleman Thief. He's a second generation art collector who runs an art gallery in Ginza, but it's revealed that he's a foster child. According to a rumour, his adopted parents died because of him.

Seiji Hazawa has a long tied black hair and fair skin. In the anime, he wears a cream colored suit and pants over a dark blue shirt along with green and yellow polka dot tie.
Personality[]
Seiji Hazawa is a sly, cunning and somewhat cold-hearted. He blatantly tells to Sakura that she could be the next target of the Gentleman Thief and shows no remorse. He's willing to help the desperate Haruhiko Wakuta by switch the paintings with a duplicate, but when things went sideways, he claims that he only want to compare the paintings.
He does however, willing to help Kindaichi by pretend to buy one of the paintings to lure out Gentleman Thief in order to not let Kindaichi tells the police about his previous lie.
