Shigure Asaki (朝木 時雨 Asaki Shigure) is a character that appears in the Thunder Festival Murder Case. She was the daughter of Hazuki Asaki. She had a terminal disease and died shortly after the case ended with the arrest of Haruko Asaki for the murder of Kyoichi Muto. However, after her death, her mother Hazuki Asaki revealed that the true culprit was actually Shigure, who wanted to get rid off her mother's blackmailer before her death. When she saw Haruko and Kyoichi knocked out (after Haruko had assaulted Kyoichi and fell), she took the opportunity to finish Kuyoichi off. She was witnessed by Hazuki during but her mother kept quiet.

Etymology[]
- The name Shigure means "drizzle, shower in late autumn, sprinkle" (時雨).
- Shigure's surname Asaki means "morning" (朝) (asa) and "tree, wood" (木) (ki).
Trivia[]
- Shigure is the only culprit in The Kindaichi Case Files to die a natural death while not having been revealed and after the case being supposedly "solved".
