Shohei Nanba (難波 昌平 Nanba Shōhei) is a 3rd year college student and member of the war game club.

Nanba is a competitive and cheerful person who enjoys war/survival game. He also enjoys pranking people as what he does to Kindaichi by pretend to shot him and instead making him surprised.
Nanba could be very insecure by their accidental wildfire that kills all Kurosaka village residents. Especially when Hagimoto feels reminded of the incident when they discover their boat has been missing.
