Snow Goblin Legend Murder Case (雪鬼伝説殺人事件 Yukioni Densetsu Satsujin Jiken) is the first story arc of The Case File of Kindaichi Returns and the thirty-eighth main story arc of the entire story.
Summary[]
Miyuki and Hajime have joined together as a part-time job and image girl candidate for the "Snow Goblin Ski Resort" in Tohoku to replace their friend Maki Soma.
Kindaichi is jealous of Hikaru Tsukimizato, the handsome young CEO of the sponsoring IT company "Web Red." A total of 14 monitors from both the employee side and the customer side were collected.
A gruesome urban legend circulates there that once lived in a village where all but one girl was brutally murdered by a snow demon. Meanwhile, Natsuki Kumozawa, a high school student who was a monitor on the guest side, suddenly disappeared from the cottage.
In addition, the skis that were her means of transportation and the radio that was her means of communication disappeared, and the lift became inoperable.
The legendary monster "Snow Demon" bares its fangs to the group who are completely trapped in the snowy mountains.
