Sosaku Aoki is a reviewer of Mystery Novel and a suspect in Twenty Faces the Killer. He is one of only three guests that survived the serial murder case.

Aoki has an extensive knowledge on Edogawa Ranpo's bibliography and often amazed at the many exhibition during the tour, sometimes forgetting that he just witness an actual murder. He's willing to cooperate when Hajime orders him to shoot at Rikiya Mido in case he did anything suspicious although he reluctantly do so when Mido retaliates.
