He had scars on his face and his arms after being attacking by someone he lent money to. He was found dead in the third car of a train from Fudosan Railway, between the Karasugoaka and Mitsukawa stations after being stabbed by his own umbrella.

He was hated by a lot of people for his work. He had no compassion and didn't hesitate to take everything he could from his debtors. This behavior lead to both his previous assault and his murder.
He was a minor celebrity for his activities and Kengo Akechi called him despicable.
He was also preoccupied by his appearence, going as far as wearing a large coat and a hat in summer to avoid showing his scars.
