Takashi Wajima is a 3rd Year Student of Shuo High School. He is Akechi's best friend and partner who he called "Watson".
He is the culprit behind Hiroshi Uchida's death because he was blackmailed by him since Uchida caught him cheating and decided to want more from his elite position. The two met at a library around 5 to 6 PM. Wajima gave the money to Uchida as a mean to keep his secret. Uchida wanted something priceless. He wanted to ask Wajima to invite Kaoru, the student council president to meet with Uchida so Uchida can violate her. Wajima, frustrated took a book from the library shelves and beat Uchida to death for taking it too far. Akechi figured he was the culprit because of the wooden stepstool. The rest of the suspects other than Akechi and Wajima has more weight than the wooden stepstool to reach the high shelves. Wajima surrendered and turned himself in. Promising to Akechi to solve his last mystery.
After his release from prison. He became a doctor for an isolated village fulfilling his dream as a doctor. Tragedy struck when the autumn flood, he sacrificed himself to save a young girl from the village.
