Thunder Festival Murder Case is the sixth case in Light Novel Kindaichi Case Files. Written by Seimaru Amagi and drawn by Fumiya Sato.
Story[]
Akie Asaki invites Hajime Kindaichi and Miyuki Nanase to go to Kumoba Village to see the Thunder Festival. Thunder Festival is always being held in August and never stop since 300 years ago and the thunder is worshipped by a resident of Kumoba Village. When the Thunderstruck one of the Zelkova Trees in the Shrine it will be the beginning of the Thunder Festival. But, amidst that bizarre festival, someone got killed in the annex of Asaki Family's House, the body was buried by cicada shells, and the murderer didn't leave any footprints around the annex. Only the victim and the first discoverer of the body that was founded around the annex. Kindaichi has to find the murderer before police arrest the wrong suspect.
