Tomoyo Takashima (鷹島 友代 (たかしま ともよ) Takashima Tomoyo) is a high school student at Fudo High School. She is a member of the Mystery Club.

Takashima is an overly germophobic person, she always seen wearing thin rubber gloves. According to Kenmochi, who confirmed her alibi, her family was away on the day of her first incident, and she was home alone. In fact, Takashima was writing the novel as Makabe's ghostwriter. However, Takashima seems to have a good relationship (in a sense), as Takashima enjoys being manipulated by Makabe as he pleases. Later in the end of the case, it's revealed that the opposite actually happened and she's the one who controls Makabe.
The official guidebook states, "After the incident, the fact that the ghostwriter was a ghostwriter was discovered, and Makabe's popularity fell to the ground, and Takashima changed completely, and the relationship between the two changed completely." However, since the relationship between Makabe and Takashima, who reappeared after that, does not seem to change much, it is thought that this setting was eventually abandoned.
( In the drama version , this setting of "the relationship between the two has been reversed'' is adopted. Also, due to an incident there , Takashima becomes the most chaotic character in Kindaichi's history...)
