The Wax Doll Castle was a castle in the middle of Shinshu forest, in Nagano. It was called that way as it contained a large amount of wax dolls.
It was built during the Middle Ages in Germany and transported piece by piece as part of an amusement park project. The project stalled when the construction company went bankrupt and the castle was left abandoned. It was supposed to be the prize of the mystery night organized by Mr.Redrum.
It was surrounded by a moat that can be crossed via a drawbridge. During the Wax Doll Castle Murder Case, the drawbridge was raised and the mechanism broken by the culprit. The castle was composed of a main building, a basement and two separated towers, the East and West Towers.
During the climax of the case, the castle was set on fire by the culprit and was almost completly destroyed, with only the wall against the Fireplace of the Dining Room left standing.
