The Western-style Village also knows as The Hexagonal Village or Ijinkan Village is isolated in the mountains of the Aomori Prefecture, which can only be reached by a long drive on mountain roads. Its name comes from that fact it is shaped like a star of David. The village was founded more than 100 years ago by missionaries.
Its main distinctive features are the six mansions that can be found on the ends of the star shape. that belong to the six richest families of the village. The six mansions are the Tower House, the Plant House, the Armor House, the Stained Glass House, the Weather Vane House, and the Clock House. There is also a church in the center of the star that burnt down 27 years before the start of the Western-style Village Murder Case.
In a nearby forest, there is an area off-limit due to the presence of poisoned gas. This area hides a cannabis field called the Garden of Eden that has been grown since the creation of the village.
During the Western-style Village Murder Case, the Tower House, as well as the Garden of Eden, are burned down.
